The sea has always held a special place in my life. I have done rowing and sailing, and some of my most beautiful memories come from sea trips when I was young. I still remember those spontaneous, almost crazy moments -  waking up early with friends just to catch the sunrise. We were young, full of energy, and everything felt possible. Now we are all older, and those memories have become something I want to hold on to. That is one reason I paint: to preserve feelings, places, and moments that time slowly carries away. To me, sunrise is a symbol of hope and new beginnings. No matter what happened before, the morning light reminds us that life can begin again. This painting carries that feeling - the sea, friendship, youth, memory, and the quiet hope of a new day.
